When my home was struck by lightning, June 23, 2009, I was left in shock, with losses too numerous to count. Living alone, it is difficult to know who to trust. As a company was recommended to me I would call them. The first company to come out advised me of the lightning damage, the price of a new heat pump and a possible installation date and left. As they left my home, I was left hopeless and in the unbearable heat. The house was 95 degrees inside. My insurance company told me they couldn’t pay until the end of the month. I thank God that a neighbor recommended Blackwell as a wonderful company to me. Brandon Irwin came to my house and shared and enlightened me on heat pump products. He helped me design and plan for my needs, even help for my asthma and allergies. He fully explained papers to be signed, how to finance the work and most of all gave me hope on having a new system soon and one that I could rely on for many years. He would always return my phone calls concerning any questions I had. In all my losses, there was Blackwell Heating and Air with a plan, a way through the “tragicness” of the lightning damage and kind people who never let me down or let me feel alone. The installation crew was helpful and caring also. I am cool and calm now thanks to Blackwell Associates.
